Starting point
The Michael Meyer painting company was barely visible online in Münster. The existing website was outdated, hard to use on mobile and not technically optimized for Google. Searches like "painter Münster" or "painting company Hiltrup" surfaced only competitors. New jobs came almost exclusively through word of mouth, while the family that owns the business wanted a more reliable stream of qualified inquiries through the website. On top of that, the Google Business Profile was incomplete, services weren't clearly separated on the site, and before-and-after photos were missing entirely. The professional impression they make on site simply wasn't reflected online.
What we built
We rebuilt the website from scratch and organized it around the questions potential clients actually ask. Every service (interior painting, facades, wallpapering, plastering and lacquer work) got its own page with clear examples, before-and-after photos and a direct path to inquire. Technical foundation: fast load times, semantic HTML, clean LocalBusiness markup, optimized WebP images, mobile-first layout. Local SEO was baked in from the start: title and meta tags tuned to "painter Münster" and neighboring districts (Hiltrup, Wolbeck, Coerde), FAQ schema, a well-maintained Google Business Profile and consistent NAP data. The site was also prepared so complementary Google Ads campaigns have a sensible place to land.
Result
The new website ranks noticeably better for relevant searches in Münster, the business profile is visible, and the company now receives qualified inquiries regularly through the site. No longer only through referrals. On mobile the site is fast and usable, and the presence finally matches the standard their work on site delivers. The owner can also assess inquiries better up front, because services and service area are communicated clearly.
